Pipeline Trading Systems (www.pipelinetrading.com) is a rapidly growing electronic marketplace for large institutional equities trading.
We are seeking a
research analyst
to design and execute projects in Transaction Cost Analysis and Trade Optimization. This person will be expected to execute research projects on aggressive deadlines and communicate results effectively. The unique context of the Pipeline Trading network calls for a creative approach to problems and an inquisitive attitude.

Qualifications
• Working knowledge of statistical tools, market data analysis methods and data visualization.
• Understanding of TCA issues and execution quality benchmarking.
• Strong analytical or quantitative background.
• Working knowledge of financial markets and their structure.
Minimum Requirements
• A PhD in a quantitative field. Outstanding candidates with a MS and related work experience will also be considered. Some experience working with financial data is required.
• Candidates must be organized, self-motivated, inquisitive, problem-solvers with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must have a good understanding of trading objectives and trading performance measurement, and be able to work to strict deadlines.
